Instagram just introduced a new feature called Instagram Notes, using which you can share your daily thoughts or updates with your followers. Along with this, you can also share your favorite song on it. Sharing notes is as simple as posting something on Instagram. To share a note and activate your note on Instagram, you need to go to the DM or Inbox area where all your chats are listed. On the top of the screen, you will find an option “Your Note”. Here you can share what’s on your mind for the day. It will automatically disappear after 24 hours.

What is Notes on Instagram?
Notes is a new way of Instagram to share your daily thoughts or updates. This feature is found in the new updated version of Instagram. If you haven’t updated Instagram yet, then sorry you will not be able to use this feature.
You can share the message of sixty characters that consist of text and emojis. Instagram also introduces some privacy with this feature, like you can share notes with the followers you follow back or with the close friend list. When you share a note on Instagram, it will appear on the top of the chat screen. One can share only one note and the Note will automatically disappear after 24 hours. You can also mention someone and put your favorite song with a text message in the recently updated version of Instagram. People can read the Note and also reply to your Note and you will get the reply as a message on Instagram.
How To Activate Notes on Instagram?
Share a Note and communicate like ask anything, share ideas or share a message of the day with your followers and get the response. Here are the easy steps to share Notes on Instagram:
- Go to the DM section in the top right of the feed.
- On the top of the chats tap on your profile picture.
- Then, tap on Note.
- Write your message. You can also mention someone in it if the user allows it.
- You can also add music by tapping 🎵.
- Select the people with whom you want to share the note, at the bottom option.
- Then, tap on Share.
Keep in mind that you can delete a Note by tapping on the Delete note button and replace a new note with the old one.
